Congratulations to the Committee for such a successful evening.  “Oh what a night”.  The decorations, the photo booth and the wine draw all added to the fun, not to mention the fabulous food, the best we have ever had at RVYC.  Well done guys and Thanks for all your hard work.

Cheers

While recently rummaging through some cardboard boxes of my Life,  I happened upon all of my 5 report cards from PW grades 8 - 12.   Reading through them,  I take exception to some of the "early" teacher remarks :  GRADE 8Must work harder / Oral response only fair / In general more effort is required / One of few to maintain perfect attendance. (L.D. Winch)    GRADE 9FDoes his assignments but wastes time in class / working to capacity but still failing / not too much effort at times (R.G. King)      GRADE 10A -   The "U" in P.E. should be given serious consideration /   Happy Summer   (F. Thompson)    GRADE 11A -   Bob is a most co-operative student / Bob is most concientious /  Best wishes for success in Grade 12.  (F. Thompson)     GRADE 12A -   A very fine citizen with an excellent attitude /   Always trying hard /  Good luck in the future.  (F. Thompson) .   I am pleased to see that Frank Thompson ( aka: Mother Thompson)  will be attending this reunion,  so I may bring these pieces of history along for his final comments.   Only 2 months to go ......... woohoo !!!!!   ~Bob~

OK, I'll bite.  Why was Linda Brodie wearing a skirt over her dress???

Can I have my 'Big Plush' panda bear back I loaned to the Grade 7 girls to use as a mascot at Shaughnessy for a intra mural event?

Staying more focused:
This could be the last one??? Let's make some memories.
What would it take to make a day of it. How about a texas scramble golf event earlier in the day?

Do you remember the rumor that Miss Curley, the librarian, had posed for Playboy magazine?  It was never substantiated and probably wasn't true but it sure got the boys on the search for the photo!

Has been terrific reconnecting with all our former high school classmates. Will be even better on October 3rd when we finally get to see each other again after all these years! Looking forward to it!!

I remember when a few of the girls decided to make a statement about the school's dress code that did not allow girl's to wear pants.  On a particular day we were all going to wear pants to school but I was the only one that actually did it!  Sitting in Art class, when the phone rang and I was asked to visit the Principal's office.  I knew then that I was in big trouble.  Lucky for me, Linda Brodie was wearing a skirt on top of a dress.  By the time I got to the Principal's office, I was wearing a mini-skirt - her skirt was a "mini" on me!

I just remember going to the Texan with Jon Payne, as I recall the burgers were only 25cents.  How did we ever get back in to the dance?????  I think I only got rid of my dance card in my last move.......

Looking forward to a fun night in October.
